Wessex Mainline Scenario Pack 1 (2006-2017)

 

Explore the South Western and Wessex Mainlines from Eastleigh to Salisbury and Bournemouth with this scenario pack for the Wessex Mainline route by Just Trains!

 

Contained are seven scenarios set between 2006 and 2017 covering stopping passenger, express passenger, freight and a test run using a wide variety of traction!

 

The scenarios included are below:

1L87 0957 Brighton to Paignton

Before being withdrawn at the end of the year, SWT ran services from Brighton to Paignton. As noon approaches, you’ll be driving this express service from Eastleigh to Salisbury. Year: 2007.

 

1W75 1705 Waterloo to Weymouth

With heavy rain beating down in the southwest, drive a southbound express service from Eastleigh to Bournemouth during the evening peak. Year: 2014.

 

2M02 0519 Gloucester to Southampton Ctl

As the sun is rising, finish the journey of a stopping passenger service from Salisbury to Southampton Central. Due to a broken rail, single line working is in operation. Year: 2013.

 

2R15 0757 Romsey to Totton

Before services on the Eastleigh to Romsey line ran a circular route from Romsey to Salisbury, they instead ran from Romsey to Totton. On this cold wintry morning, drive a stopping service from Romsey to Totton with a Class 170. Year: 2006.

 

5B94 0624 Northam CSD to Southampton Apt Pwy

After signing on to Northam carriage depot, prepare a pair of Class 450 units for service before heading out to Southampton Airport Parkway to start a service bound for Waterloo. Year: 2008.

 

5Q81 1830 Bournemouth T&RSMD to Clapham Yard

SWT’s brand new Class 707 units are undergoing testing around the South Western network. This evening, you’ll be undertaking a northbound test run from Bournemouth to Eastleigh, undertaking tests en-route. Year: 2017.

 

6O96 1016 Mountsorrel to Eastleigh Yard

As the sun sets, finish the journey of a loaded ballast train from Salisbury to the virtual quarry at Eastleigh. Your traction is a Class 66. Year: 2014.
