We return to the classic WCML Over Shap stepping back to the BR Blue period of British Railways with this scenario pack. Contained are ten highly detailed and hands-on scenarios so you can drive classic traction from the Class 31 to the Class 370 Advanced Passenger Train!
Services range from stopping passenger to empty stock moves with freight and a couple of test trains! All of the scenarios in the pack should take around twelve hours to complete.

1K32 1406 Carlisle to Crewe
Drive a southbound test train to Preston consisting of a Mk3 DVT, a selection of coaches and a Class 90 for power. Year: 1989.
1M02 0928 Leeds to Morecambe
Finish the journey of a commuter service from Carnforth to Morecambe before running-around and returning back to Carnforth. Your traction is a Class 31. Year: 1982.
1P37 1800 Carlisle to Preston
Drive a peak-time extra southbound service from Carlisle to Preston with a Class 370 APT set. Year: 1982.
1Z19 0900 Crewe to Carlisle
Taking over a northbound APT test run at Carnforth, continue it’s northbound journey up Shap. Year: 1982.
1Z20 1600 Carlisle to Oxenholme
Undertake a test run with a couple of APT trailer coaches between Carlisle to Oxenholme. You’ll have to prepare your Class 31 at Upperby Depot first. Year: 1982.
2P83 2053 Windermere to Lancaster
As the sun sets, finish the journey of a commuter service to Lancaster. Once there, you’ll couple to another unit and run empty to Preston. Year: 1982.
2Z15 1535 Carlisle to Lancaster
Heavy rainfall has affected the OHLE at Tebay. As a result, a special DMU service will operate between Carlisle and Lancaster. Assemble your Class 156 consist at Carlisle before heading south, calling at all stations. Year: 1989.
5J00 1102 Blackpool North to Heysham Harbour
After changing ends in Preston, finish the journey of this empty Class 150/1 stock move to Heysham Harbour, collecting a token at Bare Lane and reversing at Morecambe. Year: 1989.
6E65 0710 Stevenston to Haverton Hill
You’ve taken over a southbound Ammonia tanker train at Dumfries to take across the border to Carlisle with a Class 37. Year: 1989.
6S99 0925 Stanlow to Invergordon
Starting in Preston, climb the steep gradients over Shap Summit with an oil tanker train to Kingmoor, using the now-closed freight avoiding lines in Carlisle. Your traction is a Class 87 and 86 combination. Year: 1982.
