Chat Moss Scenario Pack 2 V2 (2018 – 2019)

Return to the busy Chat Moss route with seven more scenarios set between 2018 and 2019, focusing on the more out of the ordinary workings that can be seen on the line from time to time. These include diversions and engineering possessions so maintenance work can be undertaken.

 

The scenarios included in this pack are below:

1A21 0858 Liverpool Lime St to Euston

The Chat Moss line is often used as a diversionary route for intercity services between London and Liverpool. Start this southbound service from Liverpool to Manchester Piccadilly. Traction: Class 390. Year: 2018.

 

1D78 1939 Leeds to Chester

In 2019, Northern introduced a new direct Leeds to Chester service. Until their Class 195s entered service, a plethora of traction was used on this route. Drive a Chester-bound service between Manchester Victoria and Warrington. Traction: Class 158. Year: 2019.

 

1E27 0754 Liverpool Lime St to Scarborough

On a cold winter’s morning, start an eastbound TransPennine Express service from Liverpool to Manchester Victoria. Traction: Class 185. Year: 2019.

 

1R82 1057 Norwich to Liverpool Lime St

Services running through Warrington Central are being diverted via the Chat Moss line. Finish the journey of a westbound express from Manchester to Liverpool. Traction: Class 158. Year: 2019.

 

2V06 0917 Huyton to Manchester Victoria

Drive a stopping service from Huyton to Manchester. Due to Liverpool Lime St being closed for remodelling, you’ll be starting at Huyton. Traction: Class 319. Year: 2018.

 

4M12 0545 Drax to Tuebrook Sidings

Finish the journey of an empty biomass train from Manchester Victoria to Liverpool with a celebrity locomotive. Traction: Class 66 (66779). Year: 2019.

 

6Z12 1555 Whiston to Doncaster Down Decoy

An engineering possession is taking place for maintenance work. Haul away used materials from the possession to Liverpool South Parkway, running-around your train at Edge Hill. Traction: Class 66 (66779). Year: 2019.
